Khaled Lawand, PhD student at EPFL in the group of energy materials (GEM). Experienced in structural mechanics, heat transfer and two-phase flow simulations. He will support ENDURION in building new flow channels for the stack to improve current density distribution, heat management and bubble evacuation. He will also support in designing the bipolar plates (BPP) and endplates for the stack, for handling the compressive forces required to maintain the stack at 50 bar pressure.
